The trustees and committee members of charities and social enterprises are the target of a new campaign to help them understand the risks and opportunities of social investment
The Get Informed campaign has been launched by Big Society Capital along with Association of Chairs, Honorary Treasurers Forum and Cass Centre for Charity Excellence. The Charity Commission (England and Wales) is also involved, following its research that revealed “skilled and engaged boards” were better able to consider alternative funding methods to achieve their strategy.
